About the Network

Purpose and origin

The Alberta Uniformed Services and Family Support Network is a cooperative alliance of established, community-based peer support and family support organizations from across Alberta.

It formed after the October 2026 incident at CFB Wainwright, to support the families immediately affected by it — wherever they now live in Canada — and the wider military, veteran, first responder and community circle around them.

Our members already deliver these services. The Network brings them together so families can find the right support quickly. A host organization acts as a steward, not an owner.
